Rebate is available for one of the following types of electric bicycles (E-bikes):
- New or used electric bicycle
Eligible bicycles include electric bicycles that have an electric motor, a battery, and functional pedals.
Scooters, mopeds, motorcycles, segways, and electric bicycle conversion kits are not eligible for this rebate.
Application must be fully completed.
Effective date of this program is July 1^st, 2022. Only E-bikes purchased on or after this date, as identified by the bill of sale/receipt attached to the application, are eligible.
The rebate is only available to current AMP residential (D1) customers.
Only one rebate per AMP account.
Limit one rebate per bicycle.
To qualify for the income adder, customers must be currently enrolled in AMP's Energy Assistance Program.
Rebate amount not to exceed the full purchase amount of the E-bike.
Bill of sale/receipt must be dated within three (3) months of application.
Rebates are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Rebates and incentives are offered until approved funds are exhausted. The submission of a claim form does not guarantee payment.
Alameda Municipal Power reserves the right to modify or end this rebate program at any time without prior notice.
Alameda Municipal Power disclaims any and all liability, loss, or damage that may arise as a result of the applicant’s participation in this program.
